About Me
I am 38 years old and live in Carpinteria, California. I was a W.Q.S. judge for 8 years and am still working specialty events and big wave events such as Mavericks. I have been known to be a brutal enforcer out at Rincon when I am home for a good swell. I may not be the most talented local in the lineup and with guys like Tom Curren, Chris Brown, Hank Mills, Josh Bradbury, and Ryan Moore in the water that is understandable. I am known however for picking off the biggest and best waves of the day and riding them faster than anyone and doing huge arcing carves on an array of odd looking surfboards.

Amerika by Franz Kafka ( I was given this book by Tom Curren on a trip to Costa Rica and Panama) a great story about being abandoned shipped off to America and what it took to survive. Also anything by J.R.R. Tolkein
